今年、ジャパンライフは19年目になります。
前回、実家のネブラスカ州に帰ったのね、もう4年前です。
メルカリで少し古いカビた印画紙を安く買って、まだ見せたことのない少し古いネブラスカのネガを焼きました。このグレーなトーンは記録によく似合ってます。

そういえば、子供の時、牧場を持ったおじいさんの家で「ネブラスカライフ」という雑誌よく見てた。タイトルがそこから借りている気がします。

I’ll have been in Japan ninteen years this summer.
The last time I was home was four years ago.
Recently I got a good deal on a few boxes of long-expired 4×6 photo paper. On it I’ve been printing negatives from summer trips to Nebraska that I hadn’t seen yet. The grey tone fits them well.

When I was a kid, my grandparents subscribed to Nebraska Life magazine and they had stacks of old issues on their ranch. This show’s title is borrowed from that memory.
