Saudade

不意に胸を締めつけるような切なさが訪れることがある。
There are times when an unexpected, heart-wrenching feeling comes over me.

取り戻せない日々への後悔や憧れ、あるいは今、この瞬間に私から離れていく大切な何かがあるのだということを仄かに突きつけられ、それに気づいてしまった時の感情なのかもしれない。
Maybe it’s regret or longing for the days I can’t get back, or maybe it’s the feeling of being confronted with and realizing that there is something important that is leaving me at this very moment.

そう手から溢れていくように遠ざかる何かを、瞬間すくい撮ろうと思う。
I’ll try to capture that feeling when something slips through from my hand and moves away.
