東京・馬喰町のアートギャラリーKKAG（Kiyoyuki Kuwabara Accounting Gallery）では、2024年5月15日（水）から6月1日（土）まで、大田詩織写真展「Ephemeral Body」を開催します。
KKAGでは昨年に続き2回目となる大田詩織による写真展。作家の大田さんは、ファッションフォトグラファーとしてフェミニズムにまつわるテーマをもち、ありのままの美しさや多様な美について多様なアプローチで作品を制作し続けています。
本展では、女性の美と自然の美を対比した組写真を中心としたカラー作品約25点を展示します。ぜひご高覧ください。

今作品は、侘び寂びや諸行無常の哲学からインスピレーションを得ている。
身体は魂が宿る場所であり、草木花と同じように人間も自然に生かされているのである。
感触、肌、自然の静けさ、迫力、時間の経過に伴う変化を観察し、
私たち人間も自然の一部であることを思い出す。
ありのままの美しさを追求し制作された本作品群は、
これまでに培ってきた作家独自のスタイルを体現している。

In this work, the artist draws inspiration from the philosophy of wabi-sabi and shogyo-mujo (nothing is permanent and everything is changing). The human body is nothing more than the place in which the soul resides, and just like plants and flowers, humans are also nurtured by nature. Observing the texture, the skin, the stillness and the intensity of nature, the changes associated with the passage of time, the artist reminds us that we humans are also a part of nature.
The artwork is created through the artist’s specific style, dedicated to pursuing the inherent beauty of things as they exist.
