ヨウコ•グロゴウスキー
Yoko Glogowsky
1979年京都芸大デザイン科専攻科卒。
在学中、アーネスト•サトウ教授の「映像教室」にて写真を学ぶ。
卒業後、グラフィックデザイン、商品企画の仕事に就き、「美術手帖デザインの現場から（1983）」他、テレビ、雑誌、新聞などで紹介される。
1984年 渡米
2000年 アメリカ市民権取得
岐阜県の陶磁器メイカー「BEE HOUSE」、高知県のヒノキ製品メイカー「土佐龍」、大阪の寝具会社「西川リビング」等のために、プロダクトデザイン、ブランディング、商品企画の仕事を行う。
BEE HOUSEのデザインはニューヨークタイムズなどにも紹介され、主に欧米で販売される。土佐龍のヒノキの商品デザインは、現在に至るまで広くオンラインブランドで発売され、ヒノキの日本語はHINOKIとして英語化している。
羽毛輸入商社で羽毛製品の企画販売会社「Hop Lion Japan」とその関連会社とのプランニング、ブランディング、webデザインの仕事は現在に至る。
写真を作品として発表するのは、今回が初めて。

While in school, studied photography at Professor Ernest Satow's "Photography-Special-Training-Class".
After graduation, worked in graphic design and product planning, and was featured in "Bijutsu Techo Design no Genba kara (1983)" and other TV programs, magazines, and newspapers.
1984 Moved to the U.S.
2000 Obtained U.S. citizenship
Yoko worked on product design, branding, and product planning for BEE HOUSE, a ceramics manufacturer in Gifu Prefecture, Tosaryu, a manufacturer of cypress products in Kochi Prefecture, and Nishikawa Living, a bedding company in Osaka, among others.
BEE HOUSE's designs have been featured in the New York Times and sold mainly in Europe and the United States. Tosaryu's Hinoki product designs have been widely marketed as an online brand to this day, and the Japanese word for Hinoki has been translated into English as HINOKI.
Planning, branding, and web design work with Hop Lion Japan, a down importer and down product planning and sales company, and its affiliates, continues to this day.
This is the first time for him to present his photographs as a work of art.
