尾仲浩二
1991年のデビュー写真集『背高あわだち草』から『Slow Boat』『GRASSHOPPER』『Short Trip Again』『Have a Break』と続く日本各地への旅シリーズの最新作。 1999年に白黒からネガカラーフィルムでの撮影となったが、その撮影は相変わらず35ミリ一眼レフカメラに35ミリレンズ1本だけのひとり旅、そして今も自ら暗室ですべてのプリントを制作している。 今回の「トタンと煙突」でも、北海道から鹿児島まで地方の小さな街を歩きまわり、見過ごされ消えてしまいそうな街角や風景、記憶のかけらを集めてきた。2021年より2024年撮影。展示に合わせて同名の写真集を刊行予定。

 
The latest work in Koji Onaka’s travel series to various parts of Japan, which continues from his 1991 debut photo book “Seitaka Awadachiso ” to “Slow Boat,’

“GRASSHOPPER,” “Short Trip Again,” and “Have a Break.” In 1999, he switched from B&W to negative color film, and he still travels alone with only a 35mm SLR camera and a 35mm lens, and he still makes all his prints himself in the darkroom. For this edition of “Tin Roof and Chimney”, He has traveled through small towns in rural areas from Hokkaido to Kagoshima, collecting street corners, landscapes, and fragments of memories that would be overlooked and disappear. Filmed from 2021 to 2024. A photo book of the same title is scheduled to be published in conjunction with the exhibition.
